1. Agreement to the Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ScoreBridge Prep at scorebridgeprep.com.
By creating an account, starting a guest diagnostic, or otherwise using ScoreBridge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms are an initial public draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel. Operator: Isaac Emil Heinze.
2. Who may use ScoreBridge
You must be at least 13 years old to use ScoreBridge.
You must provide accurate information when creating a permanent account and keep your login credentials confidential.
3. Parent or guardian permission
If you are 13 or older but under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms and the Privacy Policy and permits your use.
ScoreBridge does not currently operate a separate parental-consent workflow beyond this representation and age affirmation at account creation.
4. Description of the service
ScoreBridge provides educational ACT-skill diagnostics, practice, explanations, progress tools, and related student features. Admin tools support content quality and support operations.
Features may change, be limited by flags, or be unavailable at times.
5. Accounts and account security
You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present security or abuse risks.
6. Guest and anonymous use
You may start a diagnostic as a guest. ScoreBridge may create an anonymous authenticated identity so answers can be saved.
Guest progress can be upgraded to a permanent account. If you sign into a different existing account, claim or discard options may be offered through secure, one-time flows.
7. Educational-purpose disclaimer
ScoreBridge is an educational practice tool. It is not a school, testing authority, admissions counselor, or guarantee of admission or scholarship outcomes.
Content and explanations may contain errors. Verify important information independently. ScoreBridge does not guarantee any particular test result.
8. Score-estimate disclaimer
ScoreBridge estimates are preliminary, probabilistic, and may change as evidence changes. A ScoreBridge estimate is not an official ACT score.
Short diagnostics are skill diagnostics, not complete timed ACT administrations.
Ranges and evidence levels may be more meaningful than a single midpoint. Results do not guarantee future performance.
Experimental practice-driven visible score updates may be disabled, limited, or changed. Estimates are not described here as independently psychometrically validated.
9. Generated-content disclosure
Human-reviewed content is prioritized where available. Some practice may be generated using AI and is labeled accordingly.
Automated checks reduce but cannot eliminate mistakes. Unreviewed generated content may be excluded from score prediction.
Please report questionable content through in-product reporting tools.
10. No affiliation with ACT
ACT® is a registered trademark of ACT Education Corp. ScoreBridge Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ACT Education Corp.
ScoreBridge does not use ACT logos and does not provide official secure ACT test forms. Do not upload or share secure, leaked, or copyrighted official test content.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse ScoreBridge, including by attempting unauthorized access, disrupting the service, harassing users or staff, submitting unlawful or infringing content, scraping the question bank, or automating abusive account creation.
12. Test-security and cheating restrictions
You may not upload secure live-test content, share recalled live-test questions in ways that violate test-security rules, or use ScoreBridge to circumvent testing security.
ScoreBridge is for learning and practice, not for compromising official exams.
13. Intellectual property
ScoreBridge and its original content, trademarks, and software are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.
14. User feedback and submissions
You retain ownership of original feedback and support submissions you provide.
You grant ScoreBridge a limited right to use those submissions to operate, improve, secure, and support the service, including sharing them with administrators and service providers as needed.
This is not an unlimited commercial ownership transfer of your feedback. Internal staff notes remain private from student views where the product provides that separation.
15. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Supabase, Vercel, and OpenAI. Their processing is described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
16. Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ScoreBridge and delete your permanent account from Settings when available.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal compliance, or risk to the service or other users.
18. Disclaimers
SCOREBRIDGE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
[Legal review required] Additional warranty language may be refined by counsel.
19. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCOREBRIDGE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR TEST OUTCOMES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS.
[Legal review required] This section does not include arbitration, class-action waiver, or broad indemnification. Counsel should review governing-law and liability language before relying on it in a dispute.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited.
[Legal review required] Venue and dispute-resolution details should be confirmed by counsel.
21. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The version and effective date appear at the top of this page (version 2026-07-26, effective July 26, 2026).
For material changes, signed-in users may be required to accept the new Terms before continuing to use protected app surfaces. Privacy, Terms, account export, account deletion, and support paths remain available.
